All major car rental companies serve the airport; car rentals are also available at the Residence Club. The Residence Club can arrange door-to-door shuttle service and limousines to and from San Diego International Airport.The Residence Club is only 3 miles (5 kilometers) from the McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, which services corporate and private jets. This airport is served by Mesa Airlines (a subsidiary of America West), which provides commuter service from Los Angeles daily. McClellan-Palomar Airport also has helicopter services available. Two Amtrak stations are near the Residence Club: Oceanside is 8 miles (13 kilometers) away and Solana Beach is 10 miles (16 kilometers) away.
